Eye Doctor

Ethan had to go in for his first eye appointment. He was scared like no last week when I made the appt. for him but when we got there yesterday he said he was brave and would do it. Partly because his dad couldnt make it due to having to get 8 stichtes in his hand the same morning and I told Ethan that his dad was brave so he thought he could be brave and go to the eye doctor. He did really good!! Nothing is wrong, and if you know Ethan, his first question was if he was going to have to get a shot, poor kid is deathly scared of shots! It was actually really cute, I wish I had brought my camcorder to video tape him! :) But they did have to put a solution in his eyes to make them dialate so the picture below is of his "cool" sunglasses he got to wear leaving so that the sun wouldnt hurt him since he told us he was seeing rainbows!! HAHA

My 26th Birthday

I went out this last Saturday night to celebrate my birthday, the tame way. But I had tons of fun even stayed out WAY past my bedtime! It was a good time and fun to get out one last time before my life becomes hecktic!

Baby Shower Pictures

This was at my Baby shower in Jan. I got tons of great gifts and it was so great to be able to see all my girlfriends again!!

She had her little girl Chloe Anne on Jan 31, 2009!! 11 days later came her brothers son Legend Rex on Jan 11, 2010, we are now just waiting on the arrival of Brogan John on Feb 11, 2010 and Id have to say I think my family will be overwhelmed with little babies!!

Last Doctors Appointment

Well I went in today to see the doctor for one last visit before my amnio is done and Brogan is delivered. He weighed in an estimate of 6 lbs already at 35 weeks!! WOA! Ethan was born at 36 weeks and weighed 6 lbs 6 oz. So I am guessing Brogan will be close to that or even a 7 lb baby! He is healthy and moving. The next two weeks will be exciting and he is scheduled to be delivered Feb. 11, 2010  at 730 am. HOW EXCITNG!! Ethan of course had TONS of questions for the doctor, which he was more than happy to answer for him. Well, these next two weeks will be spent getting last minute things done around the house and packing for the hospital! Wish us luck!

Dentist

Well now that Im off I am taking Ethan to all his appointments, today we went to the dentist. Of course he did a great job! He was worried at first but we have a great pediatric dentistry in town here. He has 20 teeth and NO CAVITIES!!! YAY! That made mom very happy and proud. He really liked Dr. O, he was pretty cool actually. There was one boy who bawled, litterally screamed bloody murder, they had to shut the door, thank goodness cause I knew if Ethan's eye caught that he would be traumatized from the dentist. Poor kid tho! So today was a great day for Ethan. The rest of the day will be spent at home with mom and going to hockey practice tonight!

WELCOME!!!

Well as a mother of one, the thought of two is sure exciting and scary at the same time. Ethan is now 5 and looking forward to being a big brother to his little brother Brogan John. Who is expected to be here on Febuary 11, 2010. So not too far away.

Ethan is 5, and in his 3rd year of preschool. He enjoys playing with his friends, playing hockey as he is in his 2nd year of being a part of the New Ulm Hockey Association. He enjoys the outdoors, fishing and boating. He loves the water, he has been to California, Nebraska and Nevada for vacation and has been to Disney Land, which he just loved!! Seeing the ocean has been one of his favorite things, he always asks to go back to California.

Im Cassi, Ill be 26 in a few days. I keep forgetting about that since Im looking forward to our new arrival, Brogan soon after that. I am currently taking a break from college, but will go back and attend this summer. Im getting a degree in Child Development and work at a daycare center in Mankato which I love!!
